Hello, I am a former teaching assistant. I found that working in a regular classroom, as well as with special needs children, is very rewarding. Teaching , and caring for children, has always been the work I have enjoyed. After graduating from high school, I received an associates degree, in general studies, with a background in early childhood, and special education, from Pima Community College. I enjoy reading to children, however, if they are of reading age, I let them practice reading. I do play board games, or other age appropriate games, sports, and activities, with the children. It is very important for me, to always make sure children are safe, but I want them to have fun too. That is what I always wanted, for my children, and still do.
