Hello, my name is Angelica but I go by Angie. Ever since I was an 8 year old girl, I would help my grandma babysit. At that age, I already knew how to change a diaper, feed an infant, and learned the do's and don'ts about how to take care of them. As a teen, my older siblings started having kids and I would help babysit from time to time. My first official job in child care was when I was 18. I looked after 3 kids ages 2,4, and 6 at their home. I would take the 4 and 6 year old to school, did light cleaning, picked them up from school, helped with homework, cooked dinner, and kept a safe environment for them. When I was 20, I started work at a daycare facility as a teacher. My main class was kids ages 1-2 but I floated around Read more most days working with infants to school aged kids. While I worked there, I was also a part time student at Brookline College getting certified as a Patient Care Technician. I graduated this past March and started working in home health. I enjoyed the job but I honestly miss working with kids so right now I'm trying to get back in it. Kids are such a joy to be around. No matter how difficult some kids can be, I easily get attached to them and find ways to just be goofy with them. I love interacting with them, getting crafty, singing songs, teaching them, and just being a positive role model to them as much as I can. I don't just keep a safe environment for kids, I get involved with them and communicate. I'm a very humble person with good morals. I don't smoke, I'm not a drinker, and dont have a cursing mouth. :) I'm very careful with my words and actions around kids since they always pick things up easily from what they hear and see. I'm very responsible, trustworthy, honesty is my life style not a choice. Once you meet me I'm sure you'd feel at ease. I'm very good at keeping good relationships with parents and always communicating with them, keeping them informed about their child. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
