A little about me: I graduated from college in 2006 and have built up quite an impressive resume in the wonderful world of retail, customer service and event planning. The one constant though, from the young age of 12 to current is my love for children. I have over 21 years of childcare experience and have nannied for 10+ families, ages ranging from preemie newborn to teenager. I have watched multiples, have nannied special needs children, implemented Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy in daily routines, knowledgeable in trach care as well as feeding tubes and am currently CPR / First Aide certified as well as looking into respite care. I have not only just been a nanny, but also held house manager duties, have acted as personal assistants, mother's helpers and assisted in multiple other areas within the family and home where my skill sets could be utilized. (Each familial Read more situation is different and unique based on needs and requirements.) I am not only trustworthy, but I am also dependable, responsible, discretionary and a professional in all sense of the word. I feel that this shines through time and time again in regards to who I have worked for and why they have chosen to hire me. I am a professional nanny and provide professional childcare on a level much deeper and intentional than someone younger than myself or less experienced. I am honored to do what I do and I take my job very seriously. I am an intentional care giver, compassionate, empathic and genuinely love to see children thrive under my care. I love incorporating reading, music and the outdoors into my time with the children I care for as well as continually teaching them new things. I am an active caregiver. I love to take children on outings, explorations as well as work on colors, numbers, motor skills and socialization. Each child I have cared for takes a small portion of my heart. I give all of myself to the families and children I work for and with, and recognize the privilege I have been given by the children's parents as a great gift. My heart has always gravitated towards children, even from a young age. I strongly believe that having the opportunity to influence a young child's life for the positive is one of the most important jobs one can ever have.
