I have been in this field for 20+ years. I specialize in household coordination by organizing and simplifying the homes and lives of families. I also cook and care for children/pets and maintain the household. Children and pets are a true soft spot in my heart. I believe that a child's heart is something to be cherished and nurtured. In my experience with children, I have found that combining structure, guidance, lots of love and encouragement as well as limitations contribute nicely to a child's development into their unique personality and helps children to be a happy, confident little person. I'm a firm believer in building a child's self worth and speaking to them in a way to build them up, never to tear down. Children sometimes exhibit undesired behavior because of something that happened at school, sadness, tired, etc. I am far from a mushy push over however being a mother of three myself and a nanny of over 10 years I believe their is a balance with everything. As a nanny/household coordinator, my philosophy is to harmonize the elements of a home in order to help with childhood development and the stress on parents. I enjoy preparing meals, planning weekly menus, cooking, grocery shopping and don't forget organizing, love it. I also take part in party preparation and decorating. I have been complimented on my cooking for being presented beautifully and for being healthy. Myself and others would describe me as compassionate, devoted, honest and insightful. Helping families I work with is not only something I enjoy, but something I believe I am gifted in. I am a true rescuer by nature and I try very hard to be two steps ahead of everyone's needs. The empathetic, strong side of me often sees past the chaos and sometimes disaster home and just jumps in to save the day.
