As your child's babysitter I will strive to tailor the perfect experience for them, based on their needs and interests, so you can enjoy a night out or even just a few hours where you can do what you need to undistracted. This includes everything from helping them create masterpieces to hang on your fridge, exploring the world through both sensory and imaginative play, helping with their homework, or caring for them if they aren't feeling well but you couldn't get time off and beyond. In fact, the running joke in my family is that if you can't find me at an event just look near the kids table because I'm usually over there playing with the little ones while their parents are mingling. At the later I received extensive training in early childhood development and worked with children who's ages ranged from 6 weeks to 11 years old both educating, entertaining, and keeping them safe in equal measures. I have also been trained in both first aid and CPR starting at 15 when I got my first job as a lifeguard, through my time in the military, and I kept my certification up to date throughout my time in childcare. One of my favorite things about working with children is learning about who they are as an individual and getting to watch their brains absorb new information like a sponge. Because in my experience, everything is a learning opportunity! While I'm originally from Houston, TX, I now travel the country full time with my dog exploring our gorgeous national forests and parks, and going to school online. I usually stay in the same area for about a month and I travel on my own time. So I can be very flexible with any arraignment we make, and if all you need is supplemental childcare for a week or so while your regular situation is unavailable I am here to help! Have pets?
