I started working in childcare consistently about nine years ago I’m pretty young so that was when I was about 14 and I’ve had the best time ever working with children than any other job I’ve had. I do have experience with special needs children as well as two of my sisters have been diagnosed with autism as well as a friend of mine so I have quite a bit of experience working with people on the spectrum. My main goal as a child care provider is to make a child feel safe and comfortable enough when their family is not around to still be themselves and to feel comfortable enough to go out into the world confidently after the time we spent together. I love teaching the kids new things, I love learning new things from the kids, I love trying out new activities and recipes. There never seems Read more to be a dull moment around children and in a way I feel like a child again myself.
