I am currently in my last semester of undergrad at the University of Arkansas for a bachelors in psychology. I am hoping to become a Behavioral Analyst in my near future. I have 3 years experience working with children. 2 of those experiences being counselor based jobs, I helped keep kids active throughout the summer for 5 hours throughout the week. Another experience is that I was able to be a daycare teacher as a summer job as well, where I taught my own class of about 10 children. The youngest being 4 and the oldest being 11. Through this time I was able to learn how to communicate with parents and also with kids about their wants and needs. I had lessons throughout the day, where we learned about science through interactive experiments, math lessons, and even art class. My last experience was this fall I was able to Read more mentor for a program called Athlete to Athlete, where I was assigned 2-4 children that played volleyball, and we would meet once a week to discuss goals, accomplishments, and how they could navigate life as a young athlete. I want to continue my education and work with children as I graduate this May!
