Hello, My name is Whitney and I graduated from the University of Missouri (GO TIGERS!) with a Health Sciences Degree and an emphasis on Occupational Therapy. Throughout my four years at MU I worked as a bartender and Nanny for a family in my neighborhood. So it's safe to say I enjoy working. I now have a full-time job in sales but miss working with children. The children I continuously cared for during my time in college were four boys where their starting ages were: 9, 7 and 5 (twins). Upon graduation, I relocated to Nashville to pursue music. During the past two years I nannied for two wonderful families! Over the course of time spent with them, they became my family away from home! The children's ages were a boy (3) and then siblings: boy (10) and girl (5). My duties have consisted of cooking, cleaning, assisting with homework, Read more occasional overnight stays, swim lessons in the summer, transporting them to and from a variety of sport practices and of course, having fun! Aside from my work as a Nanny, I also volunteered for a Horseback rehabilitation center where we used horses to improve/support children with disabilities. During my last semester, I interned with a cooperation known as Adapted Gymnastics where we also specialized interacting with children and young adults having various disabilities. I love my job here in Atlanta, but I have a true passion for child development and would love to find a family here to help out any free time that I have.
