I’m currently a lead teacher at a local daycare and I love it but I think I would love working closer with kids on a one on one basis. My room is the terrible 2s room and I handle 11 kids. It’s stressful a lot but I’ve made it through, I have had experience with kids on the spectrum. I taught swim lessons and coached swim team for years and laid lots of special needs classes in the water. I also grew up a pastors daughter and used to babysit a lot growing up for church members for extra cash. I CPR and first aid certified and have had those certifications for 10+ years and always get it renewed due to all the types of work I’ve been in it’s been necessary.
