I am 42 years old. I had been a nanny/housekeeper for 2 children in Fairhope for 6 years. As of recently, I no longer nanny for the children, as they are both now in intermediate school. I am seeking a part-time nannying/babysitting/housekeeping position. I have cared for children much of my life. I have prepared meals, wiped bottoms and dried tears! I am a loving, caring, positive and affectionate person. I love children and cherish their sense of wonder. I try to do stimulating activities with children, such as; painting, drawing, reading, making crafts, exploring, science projects. I love art. I look for the best in everyone. I appreciate nature and all living things. I have one 16 year old son and he is my world. I absolutely love being a mother.I recently received my bachelor's degree in counseling. I was on the PTA at my son's elementary school, in Read more which I coordinated many programs such as; Coordnator of the bi-annual Scholastic BookFair, Box Tops for Education, Cash for Caps program, and teaching an after-school art class. I have done volunteer work at the Lydia Home assisting underprivileged children with their homework, etc. I have also been a caretaker for my nieces and nephews throughout the years. I treat all children as if they were my own. I have many references, to include my son!
