** ISO: PT help with my 22-year-old daughter

I am looking for someone to provide in-home support (our home) to my 22-year-old daughter, Rileigh (that happens to rock an extra chromosome). She is extremely high-functioning, sweet, a little sassy (in a fun way), independent, and energetic. This would be an excellent and rewarding educational opportunity for someone desiring to work with individuals with unique needs!
Daily responsibilities could include:
* Assistance on/off RideKC bus (for work on M, W, F)
* Occasional assistance with personal care (dressing, grooming)
* Assistance with snacks and/or meals
* Providing companionship and non-physical support or supervision for health and safety
-Being present, take a walk, watch TV, listen to music, shoot baskets, go to the park, play catch, go to the library, etc.
Qualities that would be helpful:
confident | energetic | outgoing | fun | flexible | patient | creative
Qualities that would be valuable but not required:
Professional/personal experience supporting individuals with unique abilities
Required:
Valid driver’s license | 16 years or older
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: (730-945a) and (3-6p)
Tuesday and Thursday: (3-6p)
Pay:
$15 + hourly through Helpers, Inc. | www.helpersinc.org
Location:
Olathe, KS (College & Woodland)
