I have worked in childcare since I was a teenager, and it is something that I always end up coming back to, taking on babysitting gigs even during the time periods when I've had a 9-5 job. Taking care of children brings me so much joy! I've worked with kids of all ages, from birth to 14 years old. I also have experience working with children with disabilities, including down syndrome and autism. I'm extroverted, fun loving, and communicative, and I really value cultivating lasting relationships with the families I work with. I'm currently enrolled in Hunter College's School of Education, where I'm pursuing a Masters in Special Education with a concentration in elementary education and learning disabilities, so I have a lot of awareness when it comes to child development, cultural competency, and of course, special education.
